Noil silk is produced with the shorter silk fibres that are left over from production of other silk fabrics. Spun together these differing fibre lengths give the silk yarn a rougher texture, and a matte finish compared to the sheen from continuous silk fibres. Stronger than cotton, noil silk features a heavy fluid drape and has excellent temperature regulating properties, breathing and keeping you cool and dry in hot weather and warm in cold climates.

Russ is cut generously, with dropped shoulders and a maxi-fit body.
Designed to accentuate the drape and movement in silk and voile shirting fabrics.
Finished with a wide collar, a French placket and mother of pearl buttons.
