Millefiori is an Italian word meaning "a thousand flowers", and it's not hard to see why they're called as such, as each and every bead shows off a myriad of different colors and patterns reminiscent of their namesake. 

Historically, the beads began their life in Rome, as well as many of the other provinces of Italy, before slowly working their way throughout the continent.  Nowadays, however, the design is global, with producers not just in Europe, but Africa, Asia, and the Middle East as well, and each with their own unique flair.  We hope that every time you wear this piece, these beautiful beads help brighten your day, just as any normal bouquet of flowers would.
