Machus was founded in November of 2011 with a focus on bringing modern clothing from a wide assortment of creative desginers from around the world. We work very closely with our reps and designers to curate the very best collection possible from each label for our asthetic. We believe in well-made items with a supurb fit that will last.

 

Our last store, Local35 opened in 2003 and closed in 2012 and it was listed on many best-of lists including the GQ100. 

Machus is the next chapter.

Who We Are

 

Justin Machus is from Madison Wisconsin and has lived in Portland for 11 years. He studied photography at UW Madison and started Local35 when he was 25. Justin is a fifth generation retailer and has learned everything he knows from a successful lineage of diverse retailers
