The Molten Necklace in Silver from SERGE DENIMES
The Silver Molten Necklace is a minimal necklace with a small pearl and a smooth curb chain. The necklace is made from Rhodium Plated 925 Sterling Silver and is hallmarked verifying its quality.
The Surrealism art movement depicted unnerving, illogical scenes, creating a new world through radical ways of thinking. This style of artwork has heavily influenced our Surrealism Collection, with the use of everyday objects transformed into precious metal jewelry. Insects & plants create a sense of familiarity whilst also maintaining the fun and implausible characteristics of the Surrealism movement.
The Molten Necklace design is inspired by the infamous Salvador Dali painting "The Persistence of Memory". The painting depicts clocks melting, suggesting a surrealist view on Albert Einstein's "Theory of Relativity". The pendant is designed to look like a molten metal enveloping a small, vegan friendly shell pearl. The necklace is finished in a premium Rhodium Silver plating that won't discolor or age. Rhodium plating is a premium Silver coloured plating that gives the jewelry a polished, reflective finish. As it is part of the platinum metal family, it is harder than gold so provides jewelry with a durable surface which resists tarnish.
